At Metro West Ambulance, we are committed to recruiting, developing, and supporting exceptional team members who embody professionalism, compassion, and a dedication to excellence. Our employees are the foundation of our service, and we invest in their success through rigorous training, leadership development, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Locally owned and nationally accredited, Metro West has been a trusted name in the Pacific Northwest since the early 1950s. As a regional leader in healthcare and medical transportation, we take pride in delivering high-quality, community-based pre-hospital care. We work in close partnership with hospital systems, long-term care facilities, and allied healthcare organizations to ensure seamless, patient-centered service. At Metro West Ambulance, we consider it a privilege to serve our communities—and we approach every transport with the highest level of care, respect, and responsibility.

Nationally Accredited, Locally Owned

Metro West Ambulance is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS), an independent commission that sets the highest standards for the ambulance service industry. We have proudly held this accreditation since 2005, a reflection of our unwavering commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and continuous improvement.

CAAS accreditation represents the “gold standard” in emergency medical services – an achievement that signifies our compliance with rigorous national benchmarks in areas such as patient care, operations, safety, and accountability. These standards are specifically designed to enhance service quality, increase operational efficiency, and reduce risk and liability across the organization.

Metro West is one of only two ambulance agencies in the entire state of Oregon to earn and maintain this prestigious designation. Our CAAS accreditation is a point of pride and a clear indication of the high level of service our communities can expect and rely on every day.
